Max's naming day - more inspiration

A while ago I showed you all my inspiration for my son's naming day coming up in march, see here, not long to go now until the big day for Max, Ive been collecting lots of bits and pieces and will be busy this weekend making all the paper decorations.

I thought Id show you a few more things Ive found/bought this week that are in theme;

1. I bought this cute little onesie from minienvy for something comfortable for Max to wear after the naming ceremony

2. I ordered some little elephant cut-outs from etsy, the same as the ones above (sorry cant remember which blog I found this image), Im just hoping they will arrive from the US on time for the party, after doing a google search today I discovered that they are made using a martha stewart craft punch!

3. I ADORE these vintage paper straws, Im sad that I cant find an Australian store to buy them from, I wont have time to get them from the US now :-(, and Ive only seen them in red and blue, oh the red ones would be SO cool for a circus theme party!

  1. I am loving the elephant theme with all the grey and blue! Too cute. I just added a little elephant to my canvas collection which I love, see it here:
    Ha, and I just realised the display canvas I use says Max! (I love the name).

  2. Love the elephant theme - that onsie is so sweet. Great colour combination too. Can't wait to see photos of the day :)

  3. What a lovely theme, im having my daughters christening in April and have just started making the paper decorations, buntings etc.. take so long though doesn't it? What type of food are you having at the party? Im having finger/catering food but want to make it in a buffet style but still keep it pretty with my white and lemon theme...

    What paper decorations are you having?

  4. So can't wait to see this all come together - the colour palette is just divine. We might happen to know a little store soon stocking those cute paper straws ;) Sorry too late for little Max. Have fun creating this weekend xo

  5. Hi Thetis, we are having a bbq lunch (although Im having second thoughts and might make it fingerfood) but I am also doing a dessert table and Im going to make max's name bunting, paper garlands, thankyou tags, lolly bags, choc bar wrappers etc
    OH SIOBHAN/VANESSA...that is so fantastic..Im sure I will want to use paper straws for the next party I plan (Max's first birthday?!)

  6. sarah.. i just love this.. I saw your little invite at Lara's place.. oh so sweet :)

  7. Can't wait to see the piccies! Your mum was just telling me how beautiful it all was!

  8. The only place that I could find the grey straws was a UK site called Papermash...they had the other colors too, for future use...
